Learning English is a lifelong journey, and you will continue to make little steps of progress for many years to come.  Sometimes you will feel frustrated, but all in all, you will be rewarded not only with new skills but also with new perspectives, opportunities, and relationships.

When students ask me how they can improve their skills, I emphasize that building a continuous relationship with the language, where the language is a normal part of your daily routine, is crucial.  There are many known ways to do this: taking classes, making friends, working with a tutor, watching TV every day…but there are excellent resources on the Internet, too, and not always the ones that you might expect.  I will share with you some of these resources– stories, websites, and articles that will broaden your perspective, introduce you to more English, and engage you in the larger world of language resources.

I will also include interviews of ESL students from time to time.  If you woould like to be interviewed, contact me.

Finally, check the About Me and Links pages for more information.  Thank you for visiting! 🙂
